On 28th October, we contacted FBT to ask if there was an issue as orders were not being dispatched as fast as normal and customers had began contact us to ask why they had not received their orders. We were advised that no issue had been raised but they would look into it. The next day, after an increase in messages, we asked again as there seemed to be a delay and a large volume of orders not dispatched. FBT later advised that they had encountered an issue with stock due to moving our stock to their new warehouse and there was an amount of stock unaccounted for, which had lead to delays in order processing times whilst they tried to locate the stock. We stressed that it was unfair to keep customers waiting and if the stock was not currently present and the order could be shipped in time, then they needed to cancel the order and advise the customer the reason why. Due to TikTok's automated messages stating that the 'seller had not shipped the order' when it was actually FBT we were getting complaints and backlash from customers. We informed TT of this and they advised they were updating this to ensure the customer was made aware this was not MBM's fault. This was not done and we continued getting the blame. We requested on multiple occasions that they cancel the outstanding orders to avoid customers being without their order or money for any longer than needed. To resolve the issue and to determine how much stock was missing, we made the decision to withdraw and collect all our stock from FBT. This meant we would be able to ship orders ourselves and allow us to determine the unaccounted for stock. We have been sending artic in to collect the stock. Stock has been arriving back daily with the count not matching what FBT told us they had and with damages, so we have been unable to put this stock back in to be able to sell. Due to the scale of the issues, we have made the decision to close our TikTok Shop to allow us to resolve any outstanding issues and give customers confidence that if they place an order, that they will receive it. Thank you for your patience, understanding and loyalty.
