GL purchases this donated hair directly from the temples and the revenue is used to support the local community. The hair itself is fully traceable back to the temple it came from. Once the hair is sourced, all processing takes place in-house at our factory in Italy. Here, every bundle goes through a slow and gentle two week de-pigmentation process that lifts the natural color molecule through our patented osmosis method, no bleach necessary. 🙅♀️ We then re-pigment the hair using the same high-quality dyes used for cashmere, so the shades you choose stay rich and consistent from install to removal. And because the hair doesn’t need silicone coatings to fake shine or softness, you're getting real, luxury quality from start to finish. The added bonus?
